It's the "why is Ryan still on this show or in this office, again?" episode! Which I actually like a surprising amount; I definitely like Pam managing Michael as kindly as she can despite her own foolishness, and I really like that what got Ryan to see reason is Michael refusing to explicitly give up on him, and not everyone else telling him he's an idiot. Is Michael some kind of secret genius? I mean, it's still a "let's have everyone doing ridiculous stuff because it's season 7" vibe, but it's pretty funny.

Poor Dwight. He's had to live in Mose's shadow his whole life.

I agree Pam didn't tell Michael out of his best interest or caring for him personally. She could have done that a long time ago, but as said hard to feel pity when Micheal should have known better by now. I always say it, Liam Neeson, Ben Kinsley and Ralph Fiennes deserved the Oscar. Masterful performances, although none of them won an Oscar. Tom Hanks and Joe Pesci won, other superb actors, but this film has to be planned so that everyone can watch it at some point and next to the television. a photo of these 3 actors together with the great Steven Spielberg, a masterpiece.

The old man Buddy, Arquette's partner, is played by,the,late great Sid Haig, a terrific character actor who, in,his,long and happy career, played white beatniks, black pimps and drug dealers, and white mechanics,for Motorxycle Gangs like the Hell's Angels in various biker movies. He was able to play any person of any,race because he was part Turkish and part Arab. If you wonder WHY he'd get cast so,much as non-white non-Europeans, it is,a credit to his acting and professionalism. He even played Chinese warlords! Directors would look at what was needed for a,part and think "who do i know who,can.come in,on a.day's notice and embody a part and dven.give it a little something extra?" Someone would suggest Sid Haig and the director would say 'that's it!"
